Deborah DeeAnn Stulc
Schnabel was born to Delores and Roy Stulc on May 4, 1956 in Wagner,
South Dakota. She was confirmed at Holy Rosary Catholic Church
in Tripp, SD. Deborah attended school in the Wagner, Tripp, and
Mitchell school districts; graduating from Mitchell Senior High
in 1974.
She was united in marriage to James Dennis Schnabel of Tripp on
December 13, 1975 in Mitchell. The couple resided in Mitchell
where Deb helped operate their electrical contracting company
and club calf business. Their marriage was enriched by their life
shared with their son, Dustin James. Deborah was a member of Holy
Spirit Catholic Church in Mitchell, and 4-H leader of the “Just
Do It” 4-H Club of Davison County. Deborah enjoyed many
hobbies including photography, crafts, interior decorating, and
the doll collecting. Deborah died on Sunday, October 3, 2004 at
her home in the company of her family at the age of 48 years.
Grateful to have shared her life with her husband, Jim; son, Dustin
of Madison; her brothers, Dennis Stulc and his wife, Peggy, of
Spirit Lake, IA; Gregory Stulc of Mitchell; brother-in-law, Donny
Schnabel and wife, Paulette of Scottsdale, Arizona; her mother-in-law,
Elizabeth Schnabel, of Tripp; six nieces, two nephews, and two
great-nieces.
Deborah was preceded in death by her father, Roy Stulc, mother,
Delores (Stulc) Mullaney, step-father, James Mullaney, father-in-law,
Roland Schnabel, and both sets of grandparents.
Visitation was held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church of Mitchell,
SD on Tuesday, October 5th from 6-8 p.m. with a prayer service
at 7 p.m. The funeral service was held at the church on Wednesday,
October 6th at 10:30 a.m.
